As a Graphic Designer I have over 8 years of experience in Design - from magazine publishing, fashion industry and brand strategy.

The more you explore, the more you learn and push past your own limits, the greater the view of the world you have.  By constantly growing myself I'm able to approach problems in everyday life & design world with a broad but creative perspective.

 

Growing up I had aspirations to be a professional hockey or soccer player (why not both!), but over time I realized that I had a huge pull towards the creative side.  I originally started off as a painter & artist with a passion for portraits - capturing the soul or emotion from the energy emanating from a person or photograph.  But with time I decided to further my own areas of expertise and turn to Graphic Design as I was curious about identity, branding & the print world.  I moved from Ottawa to Montreal to pursue my Fine Arts degree at Concordia University and engage myself in the cultural scene.

 

Labelled as fun, quirky & curious, I believe the more I learn & grow, the more my creativity grows with it as I expand past my own limits.  Just recently for fun I tried out both Blues dancing as well as Burlesque lessons - introducing me to a fabulously rich and creative arts scene and performers.  And since I'm not known for my cooking skills - I took classes in cheese making, chocolate truffle baking & whiskey tasting just to explore the culinary scene. 

 

Also I'm also a huge sci-fi fan - my claim to fame was meeting both actor Patrick Stewart & comicbook artist Frank Cho at Montreal's Comicon 2012, jealous - right? #gettingmygeekon

 

And randomly:  I make a mean green smoothie.  Try one of my recipes and you'll wish you had a jar of fabulous green slush in hand!
